Ben Seigel, Voice, Keys, Composition
Ben has played keyboards since his teens, growing up with influences including The Cure, New Order, Tears for Fears, and various new-wave acts of current and past eras. His tastes gradually broadened to include progressive rock, art-rock, jazz and a host of international groups like Soda Stereo, Die In Cries, Jorge Ben and Mashina.
Matt Seigel, Drums and Percussion
Matt started learning the drum kit towards the end of his high school years, and continued his study of drum kit and various percussion in college. After college he moved to Los Angeles and began regular study of West African percussion, primarily the Djembe. Matt's musical tastes are broad, and he is especially fond of music with a funk foundation, like The Meters and Soulive. Matt is the drummer for Former Future.
Scott Schroedl, Drums and Percussion
A long time professional drummer, Scott teaches drums and percussion at his Madison, Wisconsin studio, creates instructional music books for Hal Leonard Publishing, and records and performs in the Madison area.
Elad Fish, Drums
A native of Israel, Elad Fish provides session recording and studio production through his company DrumsForYou.com. He lives in Los Angeles.
Kirk Tatnall, Guitar
Kirk is an experienced live player, session player and instructor living outside of Milwaukee. He contributed a majority of the album's guitar work.
Asaf Rodeh, Guitar
A native of Israel, Asaf now lives in Hollywood, CA where he does regular live and session work. He has been playing guitar for over 15 years, and performs and produces for many artists worldwide.
Chris Kringle, Bass
An author of five instructional bass books for Hal Leonard Publishing, Chris is a versatile session and live bassist with a wide range of influences and gigs to his credit. He lives in Milwaukee.
Brian Calhoun, Bass
Brian is a experienced bassist with a long history of recording and touring. He currently writes and records with his own original progressive rock band B.C. He lives outside Chicago.
Marilyn Fisher, Vocal Instructor and Coach, Background Vocals on "Seasons of the mind",
Marilyn is a professional vocalist, focusing mainly on jazz and folk. She has taught voice lessons since 1996. Marilyn holds a B.M. in Music and Choral Education from Lawrence University.
Doug Tracy, Studio Engineer
After 20+ years of live sound engineering and professional bass playing, Doug changed his focus to studio production. He runs a 48-track ProTools studio outside Madison, Wisconsin, where he engineered this album with extreme dedication and patience.
Paul Ester, Mastering Engineer
Paul is experienced is many aspects of music, including composition, recording, productions, mixing, and mastering of both his own and others' material. He holds a B.A. in in Music Engineering Technology and a M.M. in Music Technology and Composition, both from Ball State University.
